Main characteristics

The Rtten RF Identification System controls and optimizes the material flow. It is secure, fast, economical, insensitive to contaminants and stores data directly on the product. The data memory devices were developed to operate in adverse environmental conditions such as heat during sterilisation processes or frost during low-temperature storage.

RF Identification System Description

The Rtten RF Identification System guarantees that pertinent data accompany your product right from the beginning. Mobile data memory devices are mounted on the product vessel and are accessed inductively. The data memory contains all application-specific data like product information, quality assurance data during manufacturing, or other data. Up to 752 characters can be stored and, when necessary, individually read and transmitted to individual workstations and manufacturing stations. in this way, the flow of product and data is synchronized. The RF Identification System is not only characterized by high data security, but also its excellent protection against site conditions such as temperature and shock stress.

Read/write Devices

Powerful read/write devices are available in various sturdy models ensure quick and secure data transfer between mobile data memories and host system (e.g. PC). The data, including the power, are transferred inductively via an electromagnetically alternating field. Various checking mechanism (e.g.. monitoring check, CRC, EDD) ensure error free data transmission even under extreme ambient conditions.

Hand-held Terminals

An efficient and mobile hand-held terminal is available. Using an inductive interface, theses terminals inductively read or write all data directly. The mobile hand-held terminal for RF Identification System consists of a basic device (Basic PSION Workaboutmx) and a plug-in compact read/write head. The device is protected against water splashes and has a LCD display, an alphanumeric keyboard and various interfaces (battery recharge and communication).

Software Rtten RF Identification System (RFI)

The software package included with the RF Identification System complies with the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 rules for electronic records. The software implements the necessary base functionality to ensure data security during most production, storage and transportation processes of pharmaceutical products.

Software package

The RF Identification System software consists of:

Host Computer Software: This software component establishes a central data base and processes the data collected by the hand-held terminals. Administration features such as access control (personal identification, password, access level), downloading of logged data from the hand-held devices, saving of logged data to the database and personalization of data memory devices are included.

Hand-held Terminal Software: The hand-held terminal software features include access control, read/write data access for the mobile data storage memory unit mounted on the vessel and data synchronisation with the host computer via the docking station.
